Some time ago, I had checked out Writely, an online document maker... and free at that.
I was very impressed with the site and service.
Well, Writely has officially joined the Google family of products.
I'm sure we'll see some great ideas come to life with this project.

Software as a service like this has gotten a bit more popular. Something that really attracts me to this type of software, is that I need not install any more software on my laptop or PC. I only need an internet browser.
