Part of IBM going Linux??

This is neat.

And, this is complete hear-say on my part (as is most of the net)...

But, I found this.

Basically, according to a presentation IBM Germany is not going to migrate to Microsoft Windows Vista, but instead will move towards Linux systems.

I heard of something like that a couple of years ago... a company, maybe Verizon (can't remember) had moved (in part) to linux operating systems for their desktops.

I've always been a fan of linux, having worked mostly with servers, I've found them to be very stable.

For the record though, I must say that the 2 Windows 2003 servers that I manage are also very stable running systems.

Competition is good.
